Use the same staff email every time. Google and password sign-in both return to the staff side of CPOS; password recovery is available here without creating a duplicate account.
Staff sign in
Choose Google or your CPOS password. Do not create a second account if CPOS already knows your staff email.
If CPOS says the account already exists, keep using the same email. Google and password are sign-in methods for that staff identity; they are not reasons to create another CPOS user.
